Leagues

Competitive leagues are for experienced golfers who are interested in competing in weekly, handicapped, stroke play.

• USGA handicap index of 53.9 or less is required.
• Membership in GAM for handicap management is included.
• Play is based on the USGA Rules of Golf and the World Handicap System.
• Partner can be assigned or a specific partner can be requested.
• League choices are available by course, day of week, and 9 or 18-holes format.
• Top teams and individuals in each league receive awards.
• Championship tournament for all first place winners from each league.

Intermediate leagues with weekly individual play gives golfers the opportunity for continued course and golf knowledge improvement and social engagement.

Posting of scores is recommended to obtain a USGA handicap index using the included GAM membership but it’s not required.  Awards for most-improved golfers that post scores.  This league is not for beginning golfers.

BEGINNERS.  If you have not played golf before or are in need of lessons, we suggest that you contact your local golf store or golf courses in your area.  Many provide lessons for beginning golfers.
